Today being of the 'bright-and-sunny' variety, on went the boots and jumper and I ventured forth. After nipping back to invest in layers, gloves and scarf (it might look gorgeous but the wind was positively glacial) I determined to explore the hidden corners of the village in which I live.

I worked like a house-elf this morning so I could have the afternoon for crafting but now I am tired and unaccountably cold. It is very pleasant to be under a quilt and quilting it at the same time.

I've sat on that wall--I know how tall and thick it is! And the sea tore those huge granite blocks apart and tossed them around like children's bricks.What the south-west and Jersey has endured arrived here last night. I slept patchily, being woken by some of the gustier bits but I've known worse. I'm thankful to have missed damage this time around ( Read more... )
