So, prizegiving was last night, and now I seem to be done with secondary education. It was a good night, and I am proud that I didn't cry. And also that I got lots of prizes: the Carlien Calvert Prize for high distinction in classics, The german embassy prize for distinction in german, distinction for history and english, surprisingly, a gold ( Read more... )

I went shopping by myself today (I'm very proud, so shh). Everything went fine, and not once did I have to repeat myself. And they sold me sparklers longish after Sylvester, so guess what the small brother is going to get. I'm pretty much finished with presents*, too, so yay. I never thought i'd say this, but I love NCEA. This is because of what happened in history today. The teacher came in, got everyone to be quiet, and then said "jetzt schreiben wir ein Test" (Now, we have a test). And behold, the class did a test.
