My bet at this time: the Democratic nomination will not be locked up today, but the battle between Clinton(s?) and Obama will continue. Since the Democratic primaries are not winner-take-all, it's going to be a very close race.

Dammit. I really wanted Obama to win.

A bit more skiing today, mostly demoing two more pairs of skis. Some of the skiing was fun, but I found myself going in rather early due to the extreme cold-not so much on the slopes, but on the lifts. Lift rides aren't that long, but I just didn't feel safe staying out longer-my hands and feet were extremely cold and beginning to go numb ( Read more... )

Today Mom, Dad, and I performed a little "experiment": rather than getting in the car and going up to our ski locker at Moonlight Lodge, we decided to try skiing pretty much straight out the door of our house.
