What I seem to long for most is a complete connection. I don't think they exist.

Is it worse to pursue something that may not exist, or give up on something that does?

I was always a relatively articulate young man. I started this journal when I started high school. What for many are the defining years of their lives were cut short for me; where others grew from their high school adventures, I grew through writing about how I feel, about who I am and what I want to be. I now see why Boy Meets World hit me so hard when I was younger.

It is about a boy, with a best friend, a faithful girlfriend, two responsible parents who love each other, an older brother, a younger sister, and a mentor who is genuinely concerned in the outcome of this boy's life.

I've never had any one of these things.

I don't remember having nostalgia pangs last year. But I had them like anything in 2008. I remember sitting in my dorm room, skipping out on Business Strategies to watch episodes of Legends of the Hidden Temple. They come and go. I want to go to Japan, but I also want to be successful in business; I also want to go to a good school at least once in my life. Not one I'm sure I'll get into, not one that's close by. I want to apply to a bunch of schools, and get turned down from a few and accepted to a few.

These three things are not simultaneously possible. Time is running

Someone at school likes to condemn people as going to hell. He says it brings them to repentance. I argued with him, because he's clearly wrong.
