Aly & I moved out to the country. It's beautiful here; the land is so... alive. I mean absolutely teeming. We're renting 1.5 acres with a couple little streams going through it. Our neighbors are horses, one of whom turned 3 weeks old yesterday. Some of you have asked for pics: I don't have any yet.

A followup post on Monty Hall that I hope will make the problem more intuitive for people. This style of explanation, which I have not yet seen elsewhere, makes Monty Hall make sense in my head - not just that it works, but why it works.
