I saw the psychiatrist today. We discussed the social anxiety and depression. He did most of the talking, actually, and I just acknowledged when he said something that sounded like me. Alcohol is bad, mmkay?

I can tell that summer is over because my libido has disappeared. Not that it does me much good, anyway.

The shrink's office called me today. The doctor who I was supposed to see on the 10th is taking the day off, so they rescheduled me for the 23rd. Another freakin' month. My life is tricking away, and they make me wait another month.

I made it to the appointment today. After filling out a pile of paperwork and waiting another 45 minutes, I spoke to a licensed clinical social worker. This was basically a screening process, I guess. We spent 20 minutes or so discussing my social anxiety and depression. I had to drop another $1300 on my Blazer last week. The steering was loose and needed arms and ball joints and apparently a whole lot of labor. This immediately after I spent $500 on a hotel in Nashville and right before my $600 semi-annual insurance payment was due. So it was a bad month for my savings account. Shortly after I got to work, I started having terrible gas pain. I went to the bathroom for a while and got some relief. A couple hours later, I went back to the bathroom and had diarrhea.
