Mobile Baby
I can now take Zane on trips in a bike trailer. It's really, really good to be able to get more than walking distance from the house. I'm also really glad that it's no longer lethally hot, so walking distance is more than half a mile ( Read more... ) -
Fedora Fun
I updated my Linux system from Fedora Core 2 to Fedora Core 5. There's a things in the new release that I'm really happy about:- About 90% of the work for using a Wacom graphics tablet is automatic in FC5. Relatively recent kernel and X drivers come with the OS. Just fiddle with xorg.conf and change a couple Gimp settings, and it's ready to go.

Zane Walks
Well, at about 10 1/2 months, Zane can now walk unassisted. He's been walking holding my hands for nearly three months. He's been cruising (parent lingo for walking while holding things for support) for almost two. He's occaisionally done two to five unsupported steps ( Read more... ) -
In Stunning 2D!
Just a quick note about Superman Returns in IMAX 3D. It's not 3D! It's in 2D with about seven minutes in 3D. I got really excited about it, and I suggested you all see it.
