More goauche. I had a couple half-started paintings, one I was to finish forever ago and another that I wanted to finish forever-forever ago. So what did I do? I think the no eating after dinner weight loss thing has tapered off at a nice, even 5lbs. Kind of silly when you lose 2lbs a month and expect it to keep up while simultaneously doing so little. I suppose this means I'll actually have to start jogging again... or at the very least, not eat a ginormous walnut brownie for breakfast ( Read more... ) -

A little backstory: Dad was visiting a customer to give an estimate and realized that he had completely forgotten the customer's name. So instead of fessing up, he thought he'd be real slick.
Dad: (With his pencil and sheet out) So, how do you spell your last name again?
Customer: S-M-I-T-H. -

Allegedly, there is still some life left in my car. Which is probably a good thing, what with being currently unemployed and monthly payments towards student loans, but meh. I just got my hands on a translated version of both the Sailor V and Sailor Moon manga and am beginning to make comparisons. I've never seen the original anime, just that trainwreck of a dub, but I think overall my favorite incarnation is still PGSM. The base story's the same and most of the character relationships are pretty much identical, ( Read more... ) -

Originally, I had wanted to dump this on the 25th, then rationalized the deadline to the first. Some are sketches, some are finished, you know the drill. I worked all day today trying to finish off two paintings and in retrospect probably should have worked solely on just one so I could have a single painting finished as opposed to two half- ( Read more... ) -
