When in grad school
You know you're in grad school when you see a bunch of people drunkenly walking towards you at 10pm.
You REALLY know you're in grad school when you get closer and see that they're your friends from grad school. -
Potential new grad student
We had a potential new grad student come visit the lab today. He does research on invasive species and is interested in microbial pathogens. Coincidentally, there is a professor next door that does the same research he does. But he says he wants to develop a wide range of knowledge. Sickness
I was sick this weekend. I'm still a little sick.
I was sick enough to tell the people in my lab that I might come in later after everyone is done to do some stuff without getting them sick.
But I wasn't sick enough to not drive 5 hours to Nashville.
I'm badass, I know. Don't tell anyone. They would be pissed. -
