Has anyone out there ever had a CAT scan? I'm going for one on Tuesday to try and figure out why my intestines are still trashed. Four weeks without being able to eat is really wearing on me. So I'm having this scan and I'm looking for advice or experiences about what to expect. Any takers?

I'm looking for some advice here. My illness has been flaring for the past 3 weeks and I've been on a liquid diet with the usual Equate liquid supplement to keep my nutrition somewhat level. However, just this past week the manufacturer of the stuff changed the formula and now it contains milk. Milk is like poison to me, as you may recall. ( Read more... )

Who the hell moves into an apartment building at 10pm? My new neighbors, apparently. They're down there with a truck backed up to the sidewalk and everything. Shut up already!

Behold, broadband! I finally got around to getting high speed Internet. 10 MB/s, baby! Oh yeah! I got it primarily to play Mario Kart DS online, but I guess it works with computers, too! How about that!

This has just made my week here.  There's a 5 disc CD set of unreleased Billy Joel songs coming out later this month including 23 new songs!  Some of those have leaked out over the years, but it'll be great to have them in CD quality instead of a 7-year-old MP3 ( Read more... )
