So I've been helping one of my friends work on this game. It's finally reached the beta stage and we're trying to get some feedback. The game has genuine classic roots, and should appeal to hardcore gamers as well as n00bs. So the Friday the 13th party turned out rather well. We didn't get a lot of movie watching done, although they were playing all night and we did get to number nine (although I think we skipped one). It seemed like most people took some time to sit down and watch a few scenes, but everyone was busy drinking and socializing.

Rather than post something with meaning, I just wanted to make sure nobody missed the invite for our Friday the 13th party tonight.

The theme is "vile" (creative costumes are welcome), although the focus will (of course) be drinking games to good (and bad) horror movies.

This weekend was the Warped tour out at the Columbia Gorge. So many punk bands I couldn't keep track of them. There were 30+ bands on 6 different stages. The only ones I can remember by name was Bad Religion and Flogging Molly. The Gorge is beautiful, although hot and windy with an extreme lack of shade. Moshing with all those punks was cool. my car: Everything is in almost working order (finally). I keep trying to save up some money to get the brakes done, but every time I hit the halfway mark, something comes up and the money gets used somewhere else.

So, this weekend was ok until Monday. Went and hung out with pisceskat, squirrel_queen and a few other people. Lots of fun, and a good relaxing time. Exactly what I needed (thanks girls!).
