VGMAND 2015 Tokyo - Ticket challenge
Okay, so you know about the heatwave and the getting lost part. But I save this one for the GITS vs Digimon Ticket challange.
Digimon Festival happens on 1st August. Which I can't go because I opted for Momoko and Licca-chan fair when I found out that it would be happening on 1st August. interestingly train trouble on Saturday effectively cancels out all thoughts to rush to the Digimon fest and cross to Momoko-Licca before heading over to Itabshi fireworks.
So on friday there was the pre-event event.
Therein lies the challenge if I could get both Ghost in the shell Arise movie ticket and Digimon fest entry ticket. I ended up getting the Gits movie ticket(there was only one show on the last day which was the day I arrived) and just went to Toyosu Pit for a look see and sort of bought Digimon badges. so I make weird choices when I'm already tired. XD There will be more on Odaiba later.
Of course I chose Kairi. Her partner tailmon is a cat and I parody Neko Taki and Neko Helen on this. I'm not sure what you call those drawing board thingys that come as a gift for watching the movie- Kurtz, Motoko and sadly Hideo not Batou. I was kinda hoping that was a test sketch of Batou with eyes. XD
So Shinjuku. Wow Shinjuku is so crowded that I should stop complaining about my local train stations (Raffles Place, Dohby Ghaut and Jurong East) at peak hour. While looking for a Lush shop, there some promotional stuff to keep and eye for. Not a Disney fan but am curious enough. These are the villains on the wall (Evil Queen and Captain Hook I remember seeing)
And yeah free sky view up in Shinjuku., so I was bored and unwilling to go back to Odaiba before the movie.
One thing I notice was that certain exits would be closed at 11pm or so onwards and so will links between the different company train station O_O! So yeah I had a challenge to catch an alternate line train and somehow make it back to Nippori after the GITS movie.
