I've been in this hobby for 20 years, but this was my most enjoyable event yet.

Various people asked me late Sunday afternoon "Have you had a good event?" to which I could only answer "It started with my being tortured and it just got better and better".

So it's now a couple of weeks since my 102 day run ended and I'm very ready to be doing that historical interpretation thing again.

So, Lanark was actually mostly dry. What's that about? So, after feeling very off my game the first time I played Thomas Seymour at Hampton Court Palace, I've nailed him every time since and been widely complimented by my colleagues (and today by the team leader, who I worked with for the first time).
