It’s understatement to say the United States is a mess right now. It figures we’d send in a black guy to clean things up. I’m relieved the ideology of fear and smear has been repudiated, for now.

I wonder to what depth of vileness the Conservatives will now sink? I'm not expecting grace or dignity from that quarter.

Victory!

I pounded the heavy bag for a full 55 minutes tonight, making it through Sinead O’Connor’s I do not want what I haven’t got CD for the first time since I broke my arm eight months ago.

I’m sore, my power isn’t what it was yet, and I felt like quitting.

Before my accident, before I broke my arm, I was benching over 400lbs. Now I’m benching my own body weight.

I wasn't setting world records. Almost any one can pump iron and become stronger. I’m angry, disappointed, and frustrated. I feel I’ve been robbed of the strength I worked for.
