Miscellaneous General Info/Stuff That's Not Attached To An Episode Yet
17May
tvsquad: Chris' sister keeps him grounded, he's pitching a controversial storyline for Kurt in S3.
21Jun
tvline: Moving forward w/ Santana as a lesbian. Chris' plot idea: "It’s something that happens in high school every day that Glee has not covered yet." (Academic cheating? Addiction? Anorexia/BDD?)
21Jun
tvline: S3 will be about the characters. Fewer songs, no guests, one (BIG) tribute episode. Stories planned for Mercedes, Mike and Tina, and Will. 20-episode arc for Sue featuring her congressional campaign and a love interest. As they've only started writing, Blaine, Sam, and Lauren are in limbo (until next week). Writing staff of nine will focus on the envisioned Endgame.
15Aug
Oxygen: Are the TGP S2 audition songs a preview of songs we'll see in S3?: Ordinary People - John Legend
Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa
Mean - Taylor Swift
I’m Yours - Jason Mraz
Drops of Jupiter - Train

Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers

16Sep
Sociallitelife: Lauren leaves ND, and will be scarce but will have a major arc with Kurt later.
17Aug
tvguide: Tina's adopted - Mike's parents will have a reaction to her not being from a traditional Asian family.
06Oct
THR: Ryan pitching yet another show (30-min comedy) to the networks.
11Oct
DamianMcgintyUpdates: This tumblr claims that Alex will play Mercedes' cross-dressing little brother, but gives no source. Edit: Oh, FFS, the "source" is
Wetpaint. Nope.
13Oct
EW: RM has sold his comedy pilot to NBC, following a bidding war also involving Fox and ABC. The single-camera project reportedly centers on a gay couple and the surrogate who will carry their child. (Pretty much cockblocks any hope of a spin-off.)
26Oct
THR: Murphy said there will be one tribute episode during Season 3, and that it's been in the works for two years. While there was no indicator just who or what that would look like -- he told THR in June that he was discussing making the episode a supersized one. Noting that that the executive producers always listen to the cast's suggestions on which songs they'd like to perform and how the envision their characters doing so, Murphy noted that he's received phone calls from Pete Townshend offering songs from his library and that he's having dinner soon with Barry Manilow. "It's always thrilling when household names call and love the show and say, 'Here's our catalog, pick what you like,' " Murphy noted.
02Nov
IndiaTimes: There's a possibility that writers will include a plot that has a new Indian character (possibly a girl) who will introduce the group to Bollywood and Indian music. Among the characters, it will be either Britney ( Heather Morrison) [sic] or Kurt ( Chris Colfer) who will dance to the song. (o_O wtf?)
07Nov
Billboard: Chris is writing his next feature film. His controversial storyline hasn't been done in the script yet. "Maybe in the next coming month. I really hope so, it would be a great plot, if not for me then another character."
08Nov
ETonline: Chris: "Then they brought in Sebastian, who will steal Blaine from Kurt, and the first thing I thought was, "Why does no one pursue Kurt?" I'm starting to take it personally!" (Mistake, or a slip?) Wants to see Kurt be more independent.
09Nov
E!: Chris hasn't seen any scripts dealing with the age difference ("I was really shocked by that"), and he has no idea if they could handle long-distance. "Kurt has got to get accepted into that school [first], so I don't know. We'll see. Maybe Blaine will skip a grade, who knows?"
21Nov
ONTD: An unlinked tweet that's supposed to be from Nikki Anders, saying
"Keep watching ;)" at a Q that asks when Karofsky will get a solo. (Doesn't appear to exist anymore - if it ever even did.)
07Dec
THR: Fox co-chair Dana Walden isn't worried about ratings, believes in Glee, and trusts Ryan's vision.
18Dec
ITAS: Jane says she can tell when Ryan's mad at someone by the script.
18Dec
ITAS: Ryan on his mishandling of the graduating kids.
08Jan
tvline: No Glee spin-off. Characters will graduate, and be back for cool things in S4.
17Jan
tvaddict: Per Chris, RM has a big story planned for Kurt, Chris doesn't know what's in store for Klaine.
07Feb
tvline: Sources confirm to me exclusively that you will see his character, Dave Martinez, again - possibly as early as spring. Producers, who wisely left not just a window but a door open for the return of his Spanish teacher, have invited him back on a recurring (and potentially series regular) basis. Although Martin is about to debut on Broadway in Evita, a Glee insider tells me, “We hope to have him fly in and tape when he can. He loves the show and his character and wants to do it.”
07Feb
villagevoice: Gloria Estefan on will she be singing: Hopefully. It's all about music. It would be a shame to be on there and not sing. Ryan Murphy is really excited about at least a two-show arc minimum, maybe more.
06Mar
afterelton: Grant: This is the first time I have not heard anything about a return. But it would be a little strange if Sebastian wasn’t back for at least a couple more this season. But no, I can honestly say I have no idea what’s happening yet. Knock on wood. But I can honestly say I have no idea as to what’s happening next season
06Mar
tvline: I can confirm that at least one of our visions for Season 4, as outlined by TVLine’s Michael Slezak, will be a reality next fall.
1) Kurt and Rachel head to NYADA, where they live in a musically rich freshman dorm filled with spontaneous sing-offs and cutthroat competition for lead roles and solos. Kurt breaks up with Blaine at the end of the summer -- if you love someone, set him free, then check out all the handsome fellas in Manhattan -- but as for Rachel...
2)She opts for a long-distance relationship with Finn. Her fiancé -- thank goodness, they didn't get married before graduation! -- decides to take a year off from his education and stay in Ohio to figure out what he wants to do with his life. In the interim, Finn juggles a trio of jobs -- helping Beiste as a McKinley assistant football coach, working as assistant musical director for New Directions, and spending weekends at his dad's body shop. Interestingly enough, though...
3)It'll be Mr. Martinez (Ricky Martin) who steps in as McKinley's glee-club advisor. Yep, the bon-bon shaking Spanish teacher will spend the season trying to get New Directions back to Nationals for a third straight year. But what about the club's former mentor?
4) Immediately after achieving his lifelong goal of winning Nationals, Mr. Schue ties the knot with Emma in New York City. Before they can head back to Ohio, though, Schue gets a job offer from a private school in New Hampshire so impressed by his work with New Directions, it's willing to pay him the kind of salary McKinely could never afford. Will and Emma can't refuse that kind of stability, and so they bid a bittersweet farewell to their friends -- and to the series. Not to worry, though, there will still be familiar faces at McKinley...
5) Mike Chang will earn tuition money running "Booty Camp" for Mr. Martinez. Turns out Mike deferred his dance scholarship to NYU School for the Arts for one year, choosing instead to spend freshman year at a college closer to home and have more time with his sweetheart Tina. Ms. Cohen-Chang, meanwhile, finds herself front-and-center in the new New Directions lineup -- along with...
6) Puck?! Yes, New Directions' resident bad boy is forced to repeat senior year after failing more than half of his final exams. His erstwhile baby mama, however, takes her life in a completely different direction...
7) Yes, Quinn recovers from the injuries she sustained in her car accident, learns to walk again, heads directly to her freshman year at Yale -- and out of the Glee universe. (Hey, the show can't possibly follow the entire senior class into their post-McKinley lives!) Quinn won't be the only one who's headed east, either.
8) Mercedes, Santana, and Brittany head to NYC -- where they form a girl group and try to get a record deal while working as waitresses at a greasy spoon. Thankfully, their pad isn't too far from the NYADA campus, which means they'll get plenty of opportunities to bump into their old pals Kurt and Rachel. While Santana and Brittany continue their romantic relationship, Mercedes will return to being a single lady.
9) That's partially because Sam decides big city life is not for him. He stays in Lima, OH, gets an apartment with Finn, enrolls in the local community college by day, and supports himself working as an exotic dancer by night. Still, while Samcedes goes kaput, another unexpected romance emerges...
10) Heartbroken from his split with Kurt, Blaine finds himself playing McKinley High tour guide to Sebastian, who's forced to transfer from Dalton Academy after his family runs into money problems. While his former enemy remains as arch and scheming as ever, Blaine discovers a case of opposites attract -- even as they compete for the same New Directions solos. And making things even more complicated...
11) There's a fourth man getting his share of big numbers: With Finn, Rachel, and the Troubletones trio out of the picture, Artie emerges as the heart and soul of glee club, and continues to pursue his dream girl Sugar (single again after exchange student Rory heads back home to Ireland).
12) Speaking of Sugar, the resident rich girl finally concedes she can't actually sing -- and ends up becoming a major building block in Sue's plan to rebuild the Cheerios into a nationally recognized troupe. Without Schue to kick around, Coach Beiste becomes the object of Sue's inexplicable wrath -- and the unlikely duo embark on a Roadrunner-Wile E. Coyote pas de deux over the course of the season.
