Family due in this evening phoned at 5.30 pm to say they'd not be coming after all. Husband promised faithfully that he'd send a cheque for the (not inconsiderable) balance owed for their non-stay as they'd let us know far too late for us to try to re-let the rooms.

Belated Musings on Deathly Hallows
It arrived on Thursday and I finished it last night (damn guests!!).
I thoroughly enjoyed it. For me it was a satisfying end to a great series. Shoot me if you want but I liked the Epilogue. I’m a sucker for happy endings.
