Yesterday, some central Florida mothers made their 15 minutes of fame by publically breastfeeding their babies at a local Chick-Fil-A restaurant. It all started because a young woman went there for lunch and started to breastfeed her baby at the table. ...went pretty well, but it was hot and the a/c wasn't working well. In Florida, this is a problem.

Joe taught pretty well, but he did do a little too much reading off of his notes. He needs to learn to not just stand up there and read.

First, Bean passed away on the 12th. It still breaks my heart. I still expect her to hop up on the bed as soon as my light goes out at night, like she always did.

Things have changed in my life of late!

I've moved into a larger apartment. Yay!

My cat has cancer and is dying. BOOO!! She's so weak; I keep wondering when is the right time to take her in and let her go. She's 14 years old and has been such a wonderful companion to me. Arrrrrgh!

MG met today. Not much to report. Got some new books, though. Yay

I've been kinda sick lately, fighting off a bad sinus infection. Ugh. Hopefully this will clear up soon ( Read more... )
