I'm seriously thinking about going to a department store and blowing some money on some makeup. I would ask for stuff for exactly my needs, style, coloring, etc, make them apply it and teach me how. In order to do this, I need to pick a brand. I hardly know people who wear makeup. Anyone have a brand recommendation?

I did two things in the past week that worried me because I enjoyed them. I replanted some herbs we had that were growing poorly in pots, and I baked a cake. There is a baby shower at work for a guy I have never met. Our firm is split betweem Chicago and Dallas, and he works in Dallas. I am in department A and he is in department B.
