Question for you book people!
My nephew's 9th birthday is approaching and he wants a good non-fiction book. He's very interested in facts and things about the natural world. For example, he loves his guiness book of world records book and his book about the mechanics and history of sailing. Does anyone have any good ideas about that sort of book?

I had a really nice event. I did not feel terribly invested in much that was going on, but Mark was so clearly thrilled by everything that it made my event that much better. But perhaps we should start from the beginning...

Days and days and days
Things have been good lately. I don't even mind the snow, but I know I'm in the minority on that front. I guess I shouldn't talk too much since I do work from home and thus do not have to dare the treacherous roads. Where did my weekend go? I feel pretty darn tired and I sadly do not have Monday off because my office switches MLK Day for the Friday after Thanksgiving which I totally appreciate at Thanksgiving, but I appreciate far less right now. Oooph.

Giving Away Stuff
Does anyone want any marmalade? My parents send me oranges from Florida every year and they always come with jars of marmalade which I don't eat. Save me! I probably have at least four jars looking for a good home.
