I listed two items (my first ever) for sale on eBay Thursday night and they both got a bid today! Yippee! At the least, I'm not out the $1.60 I spent listing them. The current bidders only have positive feedback too, so that looks good. I figure if I can sell back some of this baby stuff we're not using anymore, it gives me an excuse to buy ( Read more... )

Dan spent last night puking and today sleeping, leaving me with 24 hours of fulltime Peter care and yikes, I'm glad I don't do that often. I had to do the 4am diaper change in addition to all the feedings, and it is so much easier to just stay in bed feeding him. I think Peter can focus on farther distances all of a sudden. Yesterday he turned into cheery, happy boy. I woke up later than usual to find him cooing to himself next to me. I don't think he cried until many hours later. After dealing with persnickety crabby Pete for nearly seven weeks, this smiley kid threw me off. He did eventually get ( Read more... )

I have the strangest child. Just when I think I'm starting to figure him out, he throws something else at me. Or, more precisely, spits something at me. For the past few days, he's been eating around every 3 hours (as opposed to every 1 1/2 - 2) and it hasn't taken as long as before during each feeding ( Read more... )

And, more for my own memory than anything else--it's 10am and I managed to eat breakfast already--yippie! Now, to see if Peter will put up with being put in a front carrier while I do laundry...

After 5 lovely days with Cheryl as my lady-in-waiting :), I'm back to caring for the bambino myself during the day. He's half-asleep on my lap at the moment. It's noon, and I've gotten both he and I dressed and I've changed his diaper, put a load of diapers in the wash, brushed my teeth, and eaten a cookie.
