Harvest
This morning we celebrated our Harvest Thanksgiving at church. Originally one of the regular preachers and I were going to do this between us, but he realised he would be off-island, so I did the whole service. Here are the gifts people brought, which will go to Food Bank;

Things to amuse you!
Thing one is a challenge I saw on FB to alter the name of a music act to come up with something edible. The original suggestion was Fleetwood Mac'n'Cheese. Winter is coming...
I have just been shopping in Marks and Spencer.
1. They have Christmas Cakes on the shelves.
2. This season's clothes remind me of their carpark - almost everything is grey, beige, white or black - with an occasional flash of colour.
I have decided I must spend this afternoon knitting the nice red jumper I intend to give D-d at Christmas! -

What have I been up to? Well, there were teas at church, my cousin visiting for a week, including a nice meal out once some of the other bikers were on their way home so things were quiet, NYK2 and I spent an afternoon experimenting with making filled croissants, I have been knitting pink flowers, organising a picnic for a group of the Messy ( Read more... )
