I went out with a friend and her sister a few days ago. Her sister was over and she had seen a poster about the Jurby Mice. As a knitter and crocheter she was interested.

On the Jacobite.
The train journey from Mallaig to Fort William is regarded as one of the greatest railway journeys in the world. I have done it before, just on the ordinary train, and it really is a great trip. Skye - Dunvegan Castle and Gardens

Holiday - next part
So, on Saturday morning we left out hotel in Inverness and took the train from Inverness across Scotland to Kyle of Lochalsh. The scenery was beautiful, the mountains magnificent - and I didn't even try to take any photos out the window - just enjoyed it ( Read more... ) -
Travelling - a bit more adventurous than expected! With guest appearance by the octopus!
We are on our hols! We left home about 7.45 to go down to The Sea Terminal for the boat. We were on the new ferry - Manxman for the first time - it was a very comfortable crossing.

Bride Church yard.
