Grout cleaning question.

I have a mosiac ceramic tiled bathroom floor that was laid in the early 1960s, and the grout is stained/dirty to the extreme maximum and I'd like to clean it if not to white, then something that resembles white and not the muddy gross putty colour it is right now. People at my house keep leaving out the tall, narrow glasses we use for fruit smoothies until the dried smoothie is glued to the glass. There's lot of tiny bits of fruit residue that the dishwasher can't touch. I purchased a hard-sided train case from etsy vintage recently. It arrived today and unfortunately it has a smokey/old smell to it. Which is sort of expected being that it is a vintage item. At first I thought it was just musty, but in walking by it a few times, I can definitely smell an underlining cigarette smell.

De-stinkify

I left some milky coffee in my good Contigo stainless travel mug and now the (plastic) top smells like sour smoke.

I've run it through the dishwasher and let it sit to air out, but no luck.

Is there anyway to de-stink this so I can use it again??
