Wedding dress cleaning

I got married 7 and a half years ago. Since my wedding, my dress has been sitting in a plastic zippered garment bag. I never had it cleaned. Is it worth taking it to the dry cleaners now?! Would they be able to still get it clean?

Couple of questions relating to our new to us house....

We just bought a place in the country. It has a septic system. Besides not flushing sanitary items and kleenexes and such, what are other must know things? How often should you get it treated etc?

We have a wood burning stove that has glass doors. One of the doors is cracked. Where would I find replacement glass? Or what type of glass would it need ( Read more... )

I came here three years ago (I can't believe it's been that long!) asking for advice when I was cleaning out/moving into my hoarder grandmother's house. It happens EVERY time and I'm sick of it!

No matter the recipe, it always burns before it's done in the center.

We have used metal loaf pans and glass loaf pans, it's doesn't seem to matter. (standard 9x5 size)

Help?

Window condensation

I moved apartments a few months ago, and have been having issues with condensation on my windows - enough that it's dripping down the windows, collecting in the tracks and on the sill, and I have to wipe it up almost every morning. So about six months ago I broke the liner on my crock pot. I kept meaning to replace it and I never got around to it. I sat down tonight to find a replacement liner and the internet is failing me! Quick de-perfuming leather?
