2 years ago I joined the hot_nerds community, more or less on my birthday. It is now my birthday again, and just for fun I would like to reflect for a moment on two years of hot_nerds-ness and how it's influenced my life. I've also added a picture, for good measure. No I am not naked.

If there are any female programmers out there looking for some extra cash this summer, check out GNOME's extension of Google's Summer of Code. It's their Women's Summer Outreach Program 2006. So it's sadly been too long since I was in any kind of chem class. I ran across iMol today, and thought, "that is terribly nifty!". I can still recognize the benzene rings in the aspirin and prozac models, but some of that stuff is beyond me now. I thought I'd at least recognize DNA, but no luck. I'm kind of disappointed.
