The time change is wrecking havoc with my sleeping schedule. It's nearly 11 and I'm not tired, but 5 am will totally suck if I don't fall asleep soon. Alive...barely
Came down with what I thought was the worst flu ever....turned out to be strep throat. Ugh. So, I was completely out of commission for the first half of the week, and am only operating at half-steam even now. Probably doesn't help that I only just got diagnosed yesterday and didn't start antibiotics until today. At least the fever is gone and I ( Read more... ) -

2007 Recap
Three. That's it. Only three costumes finished this year. I suppose that's better than the previous year when I pretty much only made my wedding dress, but come on! Three?

Too much holiday cheer
I tried to share my holiday cheer with my laptop in the form of a sip or two of hot apple cider. It didn't like it. In fact, in response it decided to go on strike. Distractions
Got started on a new crochet project--blankets for both my brothers for Christmas. Both are (or are nearly) finally moving out of my parents' place, so I thought throws would be a nice personal gift that they can actually use but that won't cost me a fortune. A sudden surge of energy
I must feel pretty good about getting my grades for the first quarter all finished because I came home and not only worked on beading the escoffion, but also cut out a corset mock up and started sewing it together. Good thing I have plenty of canvas to work with for the mock ups because I completely spaced it when I tried putting in the bust gores ( Read more... ) -
