It's been a week and I'm still battling the flu. I'm keeping a close eye to make sure that it's not going to hang around and turn into some sort of chest infection1. So I'm home, knitting, swigging juice and reading some comics. Overall, the content's been a huge miss. Ultimate Captain America; the less said about that, the better.

What's this inabilty about not being able to write properly loved up canon couples? Case in point: Billy Kaplan and Teddy Altman. I find that the canon does such a good job with them it's pretty hard for me to put my own spin on it, you know? I really hate the new gdoc version, I really do. I hate that I can't default to the old version and work with it (it was much more faster and very intuitive for one). I can't stand the A4 format (awkward for my netbook), and just ugh. It seems that there's no way back for the old school gdocs, because for some reason, the one with less features ( Read more... )

Since 2008, I've done nothing but read newspapers, periodicals like The New Yorker, or The Atlantic, various comics, Wikipedia articles (and their links) or knitting patterns/techniques (I am thisclose to conquering lace knitting.
