Luke is standing in a bright, white place with his eyes closes tight. Luke can hear Reid’s voice from afar.
“Luke...Luke...Luke”
“Reid is that you?” Luke asked
“Luke...Luke...Luke, You better take care of that kidney....”
“Reid! Luke smiles
“If I'm gonna put myself out there...”
“Reid I can hear you! Luke smiles
“Fall in love with you....” The voice gets softer.
“Reid come back to me” Luke feels saddened as the voice disappears.
“I am not going to lose you..."
“I need you, Reid, don’t lose me…” Luke tries to get the voice back again
“Do you hear me…?”
“I hear you Reid, I need you” Luke says softly
Luke opens his eyes, still standing in a bright white place. “Where am I?”
Suddenly Luke gets thrust back in time; to Reid’s accident.
“What is going on?”
“You need to see this Luke”
Luke turns not seeing anyone around.
Suddenly, Luke sees Reid’s car going past him on the road.
“Reid!” he screamed.
Reid’s driving, trying to get back from Bay City as fast as he could.
“I need to get this damn heart back for Chris so I can get back to Luke! Why this dumb idiot Dr. Ryan from Bay City had to call me on the one night Luke and I make love! I want Luke, I want to marry Luke, I want to live with Luke, I want to grow old with Luke….my life has just started.”
Out of nowhere something hits Reid’s car.
“REID!” Luke yells out trying to run to Reid’s car.
“Reid!” Luke looks into Reid’s driver side window.
“You’re my angel?” Reid asks disorientated.
“Reid, hold on...”
“I am not ready to go...”
“No Reid, you’re not dying on me, not again!”
“I need Luke”
“I am right baby”
“I need to get home”
“I will take you home Reid”
“I am not ready to leave yet”
“I know you’re not, I heard what you said, and you want to be with me forever, marry me, live with me”
Suddenly there is a flash of light and Luke wakes up in the hotel room, sitting up screaming.
“Luke what happened?” Chris asked.
“Reid”
Casey and Chris looked confused.
“I saw Reid”
“Where?”
“I saw how he died”
“Wait...what are you talking about, Luke?” Casey asked.
“I saw something hit Reid’s car, I tried to run after him and I could hear him talking about how he wanted to marry me, live with me, grow old together!”
Chris was trying to put together what Luke was saying.
It was hard at first, but Luke told Casey and Chris everything about the dream.
Was it just his mind trying to play some kind of trick on him? Or was it real?

The next morning Luke felt utterly, “I think I inhaled too much vodka.” he said, rubbing his head.
“You know Luke, when you’re drunk, you hit on me” Casey told him.
“Really?”
“Yes...”
“I am so sorry Casey, last night was crazy”.
“Do you still blame Chris?”
“I...I don’t know…I mean, it is hard to see Chris and not think of Reid”
“Now that you’re sober, what about the dream?”
“What about it?
“Do you think it is a sign?”
“From Reid?”
“Yeah!”
“Well…I don’t know, he was talking to me, kind of, but it was like, he was seeing someone else”
“Like what?”
“I told you last night, some angel”
“An angel?”
“Yeah, maybe he saw one that night”
“Maybe!”
“I really don’t know what to make of all this, I really need to get home”
“You should apologize to Ethan”
“How do you know about that?”
“Lily...she called me, they’re worried about you Luke, go talk to them”
Luke looked around the room “Where Chris?”
“He left”
“Why?”
“Because he knows how upset you are, and that seeing him reminds you of Reid”

Luke and Casey part and Luke drove around town alone, Luke passed the grave site again. He stops and says his last goodbyes to Reid.
“I will love you forever,” he promised.

Luke ended up at Katie’s place and packs up the last of Reid‘s things, his clothes and photos that he had of Luke, Reid, Katie and Jacob, one of them was Chris and Reid when they both got the COS job together. His laptop, his hospital stuff.
Luke put Reid’s things in the boxes and took them back to his car. Luke walked back to the empty room that was Reid’s room. Luke flashed to the part when they were lying in bed making love before Reid had left to go to Bay City.
Luke left Katie’s place and headed home. He walked onto the porch and looked though the window; seeing Lily and Holden playing a game with Natalie and Ethan and Faith, smiling and having fun and Luke felt a tear roll down his cheek.
Luke walked into his house and everyone stopped what they were doing, Ethan running up to Luke to hug him. Luke picked him up, resting him on his hip.
“I’m sorry for hurting you Ethan” Ethan hugged him back and kissed him on the cheek.
Faith came up to hug Luke while he held Ethan, Natalie too. Luke put Ethan down who followed Faith and Natalie back to the table to give him room.
Luke walked over to his mother and hugged her tightly, breathing deeply. Holden hugged the both of them at the same time.
A few seconds later Ethan wiggles in to hold onto Luke, Natalie goes between Lily and Luke and hugs them. Holden moves an arm and lets Faith in.
