Do you think the Bush administration should be investigated for using torture?

I got an estimate of the hospital bill. $30,000 and change. Holy shit what if I didn't have insurance?!

Also -- HR is very apologetic to tell me that I have used all my sick time, personal days and vacation time in being ill.

I now how 6 hours of vacation time coming to me. Any wonder I love this job?

Saturday was my birthday and we happened to have a big housewarming party on the same night. Richard and I didnt' announce in advance about the b-day because we didn't want people to bring presents, just some good food to share around while we supplied the booze, music, warm house and lots of people.

I got a series of text messages from Michiel yesterday. He hoped I had had a good Valentine's day and that he has two 30 year old girlfriends but they're not as good as me.

And the sailboat sank.

I hear that the Canadian economy is doing just fine. For some reason their banks and investment people didn't go criminal/money-crazy and followed good old-fashioned sensible guidelines.

If it wasn't so cold and that Canada already told me they don't need more people like me, I'd move there.

Tomorrow's President's Day and guess who has to work :(
