Every time I go to the library it's deserted, which is worrying because it's in danger of being closed. They should be finding out at the end of the month whether they get to stay open. Last night really wasn't my night.

At midnight I attempted to get the cat in for the night. I lured him down from the wall with ham and then picked him up, which he's normally fine with. I applied for help with NHS charges and they replied yesterday giving me a certificate for full help. So prescriptions, dental treatment, etc are free not only for me but for John because he's my partner. This means I can finally go to a dentist (assuming I can find one that accepts NHS patients nearby ( Read more... )

It was too hot to sleep with the door shut last night. Unfortunately, housemate took the open door as a signal that we wanted a running commentary on the game he was playing. He finally shut up at 7am. *Sigh*.

Poor Zeb! He got soaked by a neighbour (with very poor coordination) watering their flowers. He ran off down the street yowling... I'm guessing that's the last I'm seeing of him for a few hours.
