Matthew had the brilliant idea to try to wake me up this morning by lighting a match, then blowing it out believing that I would smell the burned match-head and gently wake up. False. Thanks to Katherine, who was gracious enough to put in a good word for me, I now have a job serving at Gabriel's Italian Pie. About an hour ago, my left pointer finger found itself slammed under the blade of the Natural Science and Mathematics Department's ancient paper cutter. Matthew's father, Mr. Donnie, had a heart cath yesterday and everything worked out beautifully. Mr. Donnie's arteries are ultra clear without any blockage whatsoever. Like usual, I was certain that I had a cavity in one of my molars. So, even though I don't have any dental insurance, I bit the bullet and saw the dentist anyway (paying the full boat price too). Matthew gave me a tortoise-shell kitten for my birthday! She is so adorable (of course). She loves to curl up around our necks like a scarf. I just really like how friendly she is. Ok, like everyone else who has seen V for Vendetta, I had to have eggie in a basket for breakfast. Today, I tried to make it...and mostly failed.
