Melt Into Time by butterfly 23800. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert, Adam/OMC Adam gets engaged. Kris wishes he could go back into time to change things. He gets his wish. And then things go horribly wrong, and perfectly right. A great mix of what might have been and what possibly could be. (AU. NC17. Time travel)
The Road Less Travelled by jeyhawk 24000 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert I'm not sure how to describe this one, except it hurts in all the right ways and you should be terribly forewarned that it is dark, and it is hard, but oh so worth it. With a short sequel HERE (Futurefic. NC17. Amazing.)

Kris is a bartender, Allison works for him. He meets Adam in a club, things happen. Also with sequels here here, here, and here (AU. NC17 overall. Bartending. Singing. ★ The Show Must Go On, or Yeah! Capes! by cjmarlowe 27000 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Somehow cj takes a super hero fic and makes it a message about responsibility and balancing life. When New York was the center of pop music and the Brill Building was where it all happened, a group of talented songwriters and producers crafted perfect pop hits for artists whose every move was controlled by their label. I love the dreamlike quality of the writing, and how I always felt like I was being enveloped by the language the whole time. I need to reread it, because there are a ton of things I missed, but it would not be a hard thing to do. (Futurefic. NC17. Just lovely)

I love the dreamlike quality of the writing, and how I always felt like I was being enveloped by the language the whole time. I need to reread it, because there are a ton of things I missed, but it would not be a hard thing to do. (Futurefic. NC17. Just lovely)

This could have easily been PWP but instead it’s a fabulous character study with each portion easily readable on its own. I read it chronologically, and figured it out about four stories from the end. (AU. NC17. Even if you read just a few, this is amazing)

What I really like about this AU is the heartfelt emotional complexity and a killer ending. Plus Kris and a number of other surprise characters keep it quite interesting. (AU. NC17. NCIS crossover, Kris is accused of murder after the Washington DC tour stop. Things happen. I don't have better words, but seriously. Worth the time to read. (AU. NC17. Intense and amazing.) The world building in this alone is incredible, and then the author created a well-paced fabulously complex story and ended it with just the right amount of angst/hope. A MUST MUST MUST read. (AU.
