I've never gotten into Pumpkin Pie.

Pumpkin Ravioli, yes. Pumpkin-Wild Rice Soup, sure. But Pumpkin Pie, no, not so much.

It's Thanksgiving again, and here's an easy to make, yet really tasty dessert-y thing to make that can be nice to bring with you to a T-Day dinner. It's also good with brunches, or a nice whole-grain dessert that's wonderful at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Because I’m a cooking show addict, I just watched Paula Dean make a bread pudding with Krispy Kreme glazed donuts and sweetened condensed milk. Now, I love a good donut, but the amount of sugar and fat in her recipe made my teeth ache just from watching the show, and inspired me to do something healthy for lunch.
