Jonghyun screamed underneath the artificial sunlight, blinded and feeling what seemed like a skin-melting burn. When the light shut off, he kept his eyes shut and deeply breathed. Breathing, of course, wasn't needed - just comforting in a difficult way to explain. After all, in the life just recently lost, breathing was living. It wasn't just him, the freak vampire with human memories, who felt this way. Even Key, as long as he'd been a vampire, liked breathing.
Of course they'd call him out on it now, though.
"You're put in a very vampire-specific type of pain and react in such a human way."
"I'm not human. Fuck off."
"All the tests prove you're very much a vampire physically, but mentally you don't seem to be one of us at all. It's so strange, that someone like you could kill my bonded.."
Jonghyun opened his eyes hesitantly, glancing to his side to see Jessica. He laid flat on a table, arms and legs held down by silver chains. The room was brightly lit even with the sunlight shut off, and white enough for him to squint as he looked at the woman.
"I could kill her because I'm an evil vampire. It's what we do. Get over it."
"But Key said you even let a hunter go~."
"Key told them that?!" Jonghyun asked, jumping up the slightest bit in his anger. Jessica shoved against his forehead, pushing him to lie flat again. "Well, yes. He's pathetically throwing you away to save himself."
"If you wanted revenge, why didn't you get it by yourself?"
"Please." Jessica seemed nonchalant, flipping her hair. "I could torture you for eternity and nothing would be as good as this. This probably ruined Key's chances at ever being part of The Council. Everyone knows that's all he's wanted since he was turned in the first place. Besides that I get to come in and annoy you until you're inevitably killed off."
"You're not annoying." Jonghyun said, "You're just giving me something nice to look at." he nodded, and grinned, "Yeah, when I get bored being all locked up, I'll just fantasize about you taking advantage of me."
"Oh really?" Jessica climbed onto the table. She straddled Jonghyun's chest, kneeling over him, running her hands up her perfectly hairless thighs to the hem of her short dress. "I can give you things to fantasize about."
Jonghyun frowned and closed his eyes, "Get off of me."
Jessica laughed, "I thought I was giving you something nice to look at, now you don't want it?"
"You win~" Jonghyun said, "I'm annoyed~."
She laughed again, shifting down until her legs were around Jonghyun's abdomen instead, and she flipped her hair to one side of her head before she bent down, touching her lips to his cheek. "I really don't mind teasing you, so you're welcome to get hard for me if you want."
Jonghyun's eyes opened, and he turned his head, capturing Jessica's lips in a kiss for just a second before she jerked away. She slapped him across the face, raising a brow, "As if I'll even let you get that far."
"You just did?"
In response, Jessica spit, it hitting him straight on the nose and dripping down over his cheek. He scowled, and she smiled, climbing off the table. "Well I'm going to go find a nice warm human man to take care of my needs." With a pat between his legs, she added, "Good luck with yours."
Jonghyun whimpered as she walked away, twisting in his uncomfortable bonds. "Can whoever let me go now!?"
From the door Jessica left out of, a male vampire stepped in. "Sorry about that. Higher ups said she's allowed."
"To annoy me? I thought I wasn't in trouble here. Why am I getting punished?"
"Don't ask me how anything here is justified. Anyway, you have to go back to the cage now."
"What did you figure out by burning me?"
"You're all vampire. Weird, remembering things, vampire."
"Lucky me." Jonghyun muttered, fuming even as the vampire unchained him.
