Hello, I was GD with my first son...that was over 8 years ago. I did the insulin and had no problems keeping it under control. Before I got pregnant this time, I was on oral meds for diabetes and had it way more than under control. I was at the OB doctor yesterday, and I asked about induction, and she told me that basically, they induce all Diabetic patients at 38 or 39 weeks. I'm pretty mad about this, because my baby weighed in at 4.9 lbs. at 33 weeks.. and is in the 50% for his weight and height.
