I watched an episode of Supernatural last night (from the DVDs lent to me by a friend). It was a pretty good story about werewolves. Road Sense
I came bloody close to running a couple of blokes down on my way home last night.
These guys had parked a car on busy Bell St, just up from where the freeway exit ramp joins the road. Yes, it was past the time when that section of road ceases to be a clearway, but it still causes disruption to the traffic, so there was a fair bit of chaos as people ( Read more... ) -
Damned Body
I can't spend a lot of time at my computer right now because I need to encourage my rash to go away, and this isn't the best position for not irritating it. Said rash is a bout of severe allergic eczema, the likes of which I haven't had for a decade or two. Coming To My Census Concerning Religion
There's been a lot of people jumping up and down about how people should respond to the "what religion are you" question on the census. My own view is that you should just put down whatever it is that you happen to be. I can't think of any agenda that could be served by doing otherwise.

An End to Incompetence... For Now
Quickflix finally got the right disc to me. I now have seven Spooks discs, three of which are entirely redundant for me. The other four have episodes 5 to 10 and every special feature ever released for Spooks series 2. But right now, I am watching episode 5, and it is pretty good.

More Incompetence
I now have two copies of Spooks Series 2 Collector's Edition disc 2 (episodes 3 and 4), two copies of Spooks season two disc 3 (episodes 8, 9 and 10) and one copy of Spooks Series 2 Collector's Edition disc 4 (episodes 7 and 8). Disc 5 from a Spooks season 2 set is in the mail, and I don't know what set it is from, but the notification email says ( Read more... ) -
Incompetence
I think I've mentioned before that I am a Quickflix subscriber. On my queue at the moment is the Spooks Season 2 boxed set. I have previous received disks 1 and 2 of the set, which has allowed me to watch episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4. Then I received disk 3, which had episodes 8, 9 and 10.
Apparently Quickflix has tried to switch editions, but haven't ( Read more... ) -
Idiot Cat
My fuckwit of a cat ate something he shouldn't have again. I'm not sure what it was yet; I'll get to see it later today or maybe tomorrow, and then maybe identify it. This time the surgery had to be done late on a Saturday by a specialist, adding to the cost. I'm in the hole about $6000 so far, and hoping for a lack of further complications.

Being Human With Babylon 5
I watched a fair bit of Being Human over the weekend. See, I decided it was well past time to do something with the box full of Babylon 5 CCG cards nicked_metal gave me about a year and a half ago.
