Good Evening Fandom! This is your host, Balthier, sky pirate and leading man extraordinaire. I’m joined this evening by our crack team of squirrel reporters, who have left no stone unturned in their journey to discover the news for us.
Indeed, for they seem to have brought everything they found to share with me… really no, thank you. I ate.
Yes, I have mentioned that they eat frog spawn where I come from, but I don’t care for it. Why?
*The sound of chittering followed by a squelching.*
Oh… I see. How… kind, of you to make me feel more…. at home.
*Chittering*
………...
……Right
Classes and the like
Classes seemed fairly easy going this Friday, which I’m sure many were grateful for.
US Government with Professor Lyman discussing
democracy before the students broke up into pairs to discuss the comic book characters
Calvin and Hobbes? I’m just going to assume that it has some hidden political message. The halls rang with the sounds of
Music Appreciation, though whether it was from the
student’s songs or the drunken moanings of the
judges, we aren't sure.
Villains and Villainy work on their
handbooks and kits.
Adventuring Survival Tactics has the students
debate.
The
Office was open; really, does it ever close? And the students who will have
detention this weekend with Ares were announced. Detention with a god… that should be, ah, interesting. Here’s hoping that you all survive all right.
Hades and
Elliot both had their office hours with Hades hair staying brightly lit as always. I wonder if he ever gets cold?
Life in the Dorms
This morning seemed to have started quite early for
Jack and Parker, who both found themselves unable to sleep for various reasons and ended up discussing nightmares, rescues, evil girls, saving the planet, Parker taking toys from children, and the advantages and disadvantages of dealing with royalty.
Belthazor decided to relax in the
5th floor common room between classes. I hope that he wasn’t overly interested in the show since he was interrupted several times. First, by a gentleman by the name of
Marty who seemed to be rather insistent that Belthazor would know something about the kidnapping of Angela. Rather touchy on that I must say. Things seem to work out all right on that though since there was no bloodshed.
Nadia rushed in to tell Belthazor that she needed to speak with him and then promptly disappeared. Oh yes, very important that she speak to him. He and
Schrodinger compare Brazilian game shows and demonic entertainment, wait, there’s a difference? Anders makes his way into the common room and fills Bel in on the
Z and Bridge rescue, finds out it is Belthazor’s birthday and offers him a treat.
*chittering*
…No, I don’t believe what he offered needs to be said.
*Annoyed chittering.*
Did you just call me a “prude”!?
…… Moving on.
JD and Bel have some sort of stare down, which apparently ended well.
Blair catches up with Bel and Anders, and
really wonders what kind of panties parties Anders has been throwing. Tori and Bel discuss the similarities and differences of
their pasts, and another new student, Henry,
is educated by Anders about the ups, downs and quirks of Fandom. No small feat, to be sure.
Mel worked out in the gym, taking her aggressions out on the punching bag and spoke with
Pip regaring the different sort of vampires, and the strange things he’s seen around fandom.
JD works out with her using 5 pound weights and Mel
asks Aeryn for training, while trying to seem tough about it.
Cally seemed to be on the mend from the attack and spent the afternoon resting in her room, visiting with Piper and Veronica. Buffy celebrated celebrated her
birthday with
River,
Mel,
Lana,
Molly,
Alec,
Seely,
Z,
Dawn,
Parker, and
Jaye. What? That’s it? And here I thought we were listing off the student directory.
Miley was seen
sneaking out of town. Hopefully she didn’t take all of her luggage with her, difficult to sneak with a mountain trailing behind you. There was yet another birthday for
Will who celebrated with
Valentine and
Teddy. John and Aeryn
ate sushi in a tent, in his room… I suppose everyone has their own tastes, however odd they may be.
Pheobe and Bel celebrate his birthday. While, Jack
takes pictures of Sam in the dark, which I’m being emphatically told by the squirrels is not dirty, before he goes and visits and very tired
Isabel.
The student council threw a
Utopia Party, not an orgy, in the 5th floor common room.
Food is enjoyed by all, but
River and Jamie seemed to enjoy it being airborne rather than eating it.
Nadia and Pippi spiked the punch, while
English Peter, Hermione,
Peter Parker and Kawalsky all had differing discussions of orgies. A very fascinating topic, I’m sure.
Stuffed animals are apparently the embodiment of Utopia, and
there was no shortage of them, though Willow was disappointed at the lack of
stuffed frogs ruining the utopia for her.
Shirtlessness and games of spin the bottle probably ensue from the spiked punch, as well as some…
*chittering insistantly*
… Fine, some BOYKISSING. Really? Is it really that important?
*Chittering*
…… Good, my life is complete now that you are happy.
Hmmm, on a sadly more serious note. It seems that while
Alec, Alanna, and Molly were out on a hunt for food, they discovered Buffy Summers badly injured and
rushed her to the clinic. Hopefully, she will be all right. I’m sad to say that the squirrels have nothing more to report on this….
Around the Town
Lorne had
Emma and Wade over before class, to speak with them about judging his class. Emma seemed to be having second thoughts, but Lorne was able to entreat her with everyone’s drink of choice,
alcohol.
Piper met
Pheobe at
the Perk to attempt to mend things, running into
Chris and Wyatt afterwards who don’t seem to know the best way to approach their mother. Veronica has both warm and cold receptions at
JGOB. Annette met GOB and enjoyed the mellowness of Caritas as they
discussed the bar. The
Devil’s Nest had a slow night. And if you’re wondering about the smell lingering in town Jarod was seen wearing a hazmat suit as he headed into the kitchen of
the Sin, I’m assuming to do some cleaning. Teddy and Chad had a date over
tea at Tai Ching that was apparently watched over by a peeping
Doctor Venture, who in turn, was being watched by the squirrels.
…… Frightening, isn’t it?
I suppose it could have been worse, but that Fandom, is a majority of what happened today. I hope that you now feel more enlightened and ‘in the know’ as they say and I leave you tonight with one question.
How is it that we all actually understand what these squirrels are saying?!
Goodnight! And Happy Birthday to all of you celebrating.
[OOC: I'm really sorry about the lateness. I ended up having to do the coding twice.Fixing tags again. Should be set now]
