well, life has been crazy and it's been a while since i've updated this crazy mistress known as livejournal. let's see if i can summarize the last few weeks. last weekend i was up in the houghton area visiting eli. it was made even more complete with a trip to the anchor bar. this past weekend i was skiing with the brother and the brother's wife. discoveries of the weekend:- i went to pat's steaks for my first time, even though i've been a philly native all my life. i was disappointed. the best steaks are made by jim's and the random local places you'll find when you aren't looking for them.

the ironically two best and worst hallmarks of the holiday season are the busy-ness and expensive-ness of it all. this has, quite possibly, been one of my busiest to date and maybe expensive-iest, although i must admit that most purchases that would have normally fallen under the "impulse buy" or "what's a budget?" categories have been categorized ( Read more... ) -
