So, we have this bed that used to be higher...but the legs (on the frame) broke when we moved. We bought risers, but it's still not as tall as I had hoped for. I'm thinking about trying to find another box spring to add height, but not sure if it might cause the mattress to slide or something.

Any advice?

Outdoor Lights

My husband is on the HOA board in our community. A couple of piece of shit teenagers keep destroying the lights that point to the neighborhood sign at the entrance and we're tired of buying new ones.

Does anyone have lights that are unbreakable? Or have any ideas on how to make it harder for them to break?

I'm not one of those whose beside table holds a solitary lamp. Aside from the lamp, which I may change to a wall mounted one to give me more space, there is usually the following:

glass of ice tea
extra bottle of ice tea - I have a dry mouth and sometimes need to take migraine meds in the middle of the night
box of tissues
two bottles of daily meds

Plumbing a Dishwasher

I'm getting a dishwasher delivered in a few days, and there's obviously been one in the space before, but I suspect that the plumbing is incorrect. You can see the hot water at the back, which should be right, but it's the drain that has me concerned.
