Today I went to the British Museum in London to see their exhibition Michelangelo: The Last Decades. Yesterday I met a friend and we travelled to the Museum of London, Docklands to visit their exhibition Fashion City: How Jewish Londoners shaped global style.The exhibition covers (briefly) the history of the movement of Jewish people to Britain which started in the 11th Century, and increased at various times because of persecution of the faith in ( Read more... )

Today has turned out to be sunny, which is a nice change after a few dull days (15C/59F), but the wind was quite cold. Mr Cee took the day off and we travelled to Shoreditch in London to see The Art of the Brick - an exhibition of the sculptures and creations in Lego of Nathan Sawaya. It's been an interesting day weather-wise - I was blown around by the wind, rained on, there was sunshine and hail stones and then it started raining again! I was back in my winter coat with my gloves!
