Yesterday's weather was a complete contrast to our walk last week with intermittent very heavy showers throughout the two-hour walk. Yesterday I set off to Paddington Station to meet up with the group I joined last Autumn for a guided history walk around Paddington and Maida Vale. Today was the best day of the week with no rain and sunshine! Even though it was cool at only 15C/59F, the sunshine made it feel much warmer and I wore sunglasses today!

Today the weather was humid, overcast and 26C/79F in London where I headed on the train with a friend to see their exhibition: Out Shopping: The Dresses of Marion and Maud Sambourne (1880-1910). Yesterday Mr Cee took the day off from our garden project, so we went out for a very nice lunch, and in the evening we went on a Segway Tour of the grounds of Leeds Castle.

Today I met a friend and we went to see the small exhibition Discover Degas & Miss La La at the National Gallery. I really like these small exhibitions (which are free to everyone) as they closely focus on a painting and give you a lot to think about.

Today I met with kathyh at Dulwich Picture Gallery to see their exhibition Yoshida: Three Generations of Japanese PrintmakingThe exhibition covers the work of Yoshida Hiroshi, his wife Yoshida Fujio and their sons Tōshi and Hodaka. Yesterday Mr Cee and I went to London to meet up with a guided walk along the South Bank of the Thames and look at the various sculptures.
