45 Minho had never been on such a slow train in his life. He tried calling Taemin a few more times, but it seemed his cell phone was off. If he started to wonder about what Onew was doing, he felt terribly drained, so he tried not to. He'd get to the council, and they'd solve everything. That was the plan.
Of course, 'The Council' could be a lot of teenagers playing around. It could also be a bunch of dangerous vampires looking for idiot food. It could also be, for all he knew, a dump. Either way, he had no where else to go, so he was on the train to Seoul.
He kept checking the time. If there was one thing that kept his thoughts off of Onew, it was thoughts of what was going to happen when his mom woke up and he was missing. He didn't want her to be upset... he'd have to call her in the morning. What would he say though? He still couldn't think of a proper excuse, though he'd settled with the closest thing to the truth he could find.
He was looking for Taemin.
He closed his eyes, feeling that weird jealousy again. What had Onew and Taemin been doing together anyway? Onew had been all, "You should go home" and such. It isn't like Onew could eat Taemin... he'd lost enough blood, right?
As he thought more about Onew, that drained feeling was taking over, and before he knew it he was asleep.
He had a horrible nightmare. Again, it wasn't one he'd remember any details of. As if it was blackness, and he could just feel someone kicking him over and over again in the gut, and a sense of dread that told him he didn't have much time.
When he was waking up again, he thought the wetness all over him was blood, and he jumped and flailed - only to realize that it was sweat.
"Woah there." a girl's voice said, sounding amused, and his blurry vision cleared on her. She put a small hand on his shoulder, "You okay?"
She was much too young, he thought, to be riding a train so late at night. She was probably Taemin's age or so, with long black hair and natural beauty.
"I just had a nightmare." Minho said quietly, looking down at himself. His hands were pale, and palms were sweaty. He tried not to consider how unattractive he must be.
"Oh, I don't think that was just a nightmare~." the girl said in a sing song voice. He looked at her, raising a brow. She just smiled at him, looking friendly. "You're bonded... aren't you?"
Minho stiffened, looking around him. The car had plenty of people on it, especially for it being so late. It wasn't something he wanted to talk about in public. He looked back at her, "How did you know?"
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "My vampire said so." the girl pointed across the car, and Minho followed her finger to spot an older (but not much) woman with blonde hair, who smirked and gave a subtle wave.
"She's Jessica." the girl said, "I'm Krystal. What's your name?"
Minho was watching other people carefully, expecting someone to give them rotten looks for talking about something like vampires. When he was sure no one was paying any attention, he said, "I'm Minho."
"You must be on your way to The Council." Krystal said, her own voice quieting. "Your vampire is in trouble, right?"
"How did you.."
"That nightmare. I've had one like it." Krystal frowned, looking distant for a moment.
"This is real." Minho said, though he seemed unnerved by that.
"Ohh, so you're new." Krystal's smile made her look youthful and cute again, and Minho couldn't help feeling self-concious again about his appearance. "I am." he told her.
"That could be bad." the vampire by the name Jessica said from across the train, her tone simplistic rather than foreboding. Minho gave her an odd look before she continued, "If you aren't even registered yet..."
"I'm not." Minho said.
"Hm." Jessica said, smiling as if there was some secret joke. "We'll help you get to The Council, since you're vampire isn't here."
Whether it was her light uncaring tone or something more, Minho didn't know, but he didn't trust her. Yet he nodded, accepting her help.
"Try to sleep some more." she told him, "You look exhausted."
As if her words were a sleeping pill, his eyes drifted closed, and he returned to his nightmare.

Notes: To be perfectly clear, yes. These characters are based on SNSD's Jessica and f(x)'s Krystal. I hesitated to bring them in, but they were pretty necessary. I can't say how big of a part they'll have, but even if you're a hater, please stay tuned. ^^
