The world changed over the next few years. Vampires became common knowledge to the world, and as for South Korea, vampires pretty much ran the place. It was chaos. War and crime was everywhere, between humans and vampires, vampires and vampires, humans and humans. Even beneath the light of the sun, there was no peace. People lived in fear and pain, and few knew happiness as what it once was.
The Council had been forced to relocate, but they were still in tact and still the top, no matter how many others opposed them. Their building now was a modern place specially built beneath the ground, and...
Taecyeon looked up from the desk, making sure the eyeglasses he wore were straight as a collection of figures descended from the downward staircase main entrance. He grinned his large fangs as he recognized the group.
Just a moment later, Taecyeon barged into The Council's meeting room. The elite group of vampires, that had expanded a bit in the last few years, all looked to Taecyeon, wondering of course what the interuption was about.
Kim Heechul seemed especially annoyed, saying, "Yah, this better be good."
Taecyeon only chuckled a little and stepped aside from the doorway.
A tall red-haired youth in tight shiny pants stepped into the room first, looking over The Council.
"My name is Lee Taemin." he announced.
As most of the members gave him surprised looks, Taemin locked eyes with the one who didn't, a blond who's face he recognized as someone once a friend to him - Kim Jungmo. The vampire cringed and avoided looking at him.
Taemin frowned, and tore his eyes away as well. His group moved into the room behind him, men and women, older and younger, some looking scared and some looking fierce. In total, there were ten of them verses the 8 members of The Council.. plus Taecyeon. "My friends and I are here to help you take over South Korea."
"Pardon?" asked The Council's one and only female member.
"If life can become even remotely like it was before... if we can just set some laws in place that will benefit both you and ourselves, then we--"
"Enough, enough already." Changmin said, leaning his head boredly on his elbow. "All in favor of killing them?"
As agreement went around the circle of the elite vampires, Taemin reached into his jacket's inner pocket, pulling out a small bottle and tilting it up, pouring it's entire contents - a dark red liquid - into his mouth. Only when it was empty did he notice the vampires were watching him, disgust or anger on their face.
Taemin grinned at them quite maliciously and drew a switchblade from the pocket he returned the bottle to. "So, shall we play then?"

The night sky was bright with stars in the country. Jonghyun found it pretty distracting as he walked along with Minho down the long, weaving dirt path that lead their way. "Minho, do you think that stars are souls of the dead? I mean, I know that science has proved they're whatever they are - but can't whatever they are actually be souls?"
"Jonghyun," Minho said, turning around, "Why are you way back there?"
Jonghyun dropped his eyes from the sky, looking to Minho who'd managed to get quite a distance ahead. He walked quickly as Minho waited, scowling, "We can't all have freak long legs. Some of us are proportionate."
Minho's hair was lightened to the color brown and vaguely curled, and his clothes were casual but stylish - it was a look that seemed effortless, and contrasted with Jonghyun's product covered spiky hair, jewelry, and expensive shoes.
"It's not the legs," Minho said, turning ahead and continuing to walk, "It's the dawdling."
Jonghyun scowled, "I'm not dawdling, you're just... not.. stopping. Tch..."
"I want to get there." Minho said seriously, "In plenty of time before the sun comes up."
"Don't know what you're so excited about," Jonghyun said, crossing his arms. "I'm telling you you're gonna regret this whole thing five minutes after we get there."
"We'll see." Minho said. He was smiling, and he picked up the pace of his steps a bit. Jonghyun rolled his eyes, hurrying to quickly follow behind. "We could be eating right now. I'm way hungry. There's no way this little town is gonna have anyone good to eat. All the freaking out in the city and stuff, that's where it's at."
"That's where everyone wants to kill us." Minho said with a slight sigh, but then his smile returned. "It's just one more reason it was a good idea to come out here."
"Yeah, well," Jonghyun paused just to kick a rock, "Don't say I didn't warn you..."
A few minutes later, the shorter vampire was having to run to catch up to the taller again as they finally entered the tiny town they'd been looking for. It might as well have been something out of an old western movie. It looked outright abandoned.
Jonghyun smirked, shoving his hands in his pockets, "It looks like he's still ruining everything he touches."
"Shh." Minho said, holding up a finger.
A second later, there was the sound of something breaking.
"Sounds like it too." Jonghyun commented, raising a brow.
Minho seemed suddenly nervous, turning to look at Jonghyun, "Is he really that bad?"
Jonghyun's eyes went wide, "What have I been saying this whole time? For like an hour. No, for like, days - months - years! Onew is a---"
"Onew?" Minho questioned, watching as the only vaguely familiar vampire stepped out onto the path in front of him. His hair was black, his clothes were expensive, and his face was covered in blood.
He looked at Minho with wide, shocked eyes, and was speechless.
Minho cringed, his head pounding slightest of an ache. He braced himself for it to worsen, but when it didn't, he cautiously said, "O-Onew? Do you remember who I am?"
Onew ran to Minho, pulling him roughly into a tight embrace. "Minho, God.. Minho..."
"Yeah, okay." Jonghyun said, "I'll just be over here, don't mind me."
It was like a hug from a dream, though that dream - Minho knew - was in fact one of the few human memories he had. He felt nervous in Onew's arms. Nervous, but right.

Final Notes - Where do we go from here? I have a revision to work on! Not only that, but hopefully future drabbles and one shots. Not too mention my friends and I will likely be doing an RPG that I think may or may not be set after this here epilogue, so let me know if you're interested in joining in on that by chance. (Will require a 'full' version of AIM that allows you to group chat.)
I've tried again and again to put into words how much it's meant to me every time one of you has commented, or even clicked 'subscribe' or 'like'. I really can not say thank you enough times. There are things in the story I like and don't like, as I'm sure is the same with most of you, but for all of you who have stuck with me through it all and given something I wrote so much of your time, I just.. there really is no words. I just, love you.
I'm a girl who feels that I've lived in the shadow of the truly genuinely wonderful amazing people around me. Okay okay prepare yourself for my dorky............. writing this fic made me feel like I was finally in the light. (Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh she did it she said those words maaan I'm not gonna read her fiction any more she's such a dorky freak.) No, but I mean it seriously. :/
