For non-routine midwife appointments (i.e. ones you have made outside your normal schedule of visits), do you still need to provide a urine sample?

Has anyone used the Jan de Vries flower essences whilst pregnant? I've just bought one and the woman in the shop said they were safe for use in pregnancy, but reading the leaflet it says to check with a professional/doctor before taking if pregnant or breastfeeding, and I was just wondering if anyone else has taken them?
