Okay, folks, who else felt like all the delicious promised h/c got UNFAIRLY RIPPED AWAY last night? Yeah. What is this "three weeks later" nonsense?
Where was the head trauma? The hobbling around on crutches? The possible coma? Bobby having to take care of unconscious!Sam and loopy-on-painkillers!Dean?
And THEN there was all the during-and-post episode stuff that could have happened! Like Dean having a "mishap" cutting off his own cast. Sam dealing with Lucifer. ALL THE H/C!
In short, there needs to be comment-fic to fill in these terrible, terrible lapses in judgement on the writers' part, am I right? Of course I am!

I don't imagine Dean would take to kindly to people using words like 'freak' or 'psycho' behind Sam's back. So he goes out to the Impala to find extra clothes for the brothers to bundle up in. Naturally Sam starts leaving it food, but he discovers slowly how much the little guy is helping him feel grounded and needed and capable, and taking care of the puppy is something he can do well and reliably, and it gives him a reason to get up. Dean really does not like (or is allergic to????) freaking dogs. It doesn't help that the last ones he knew were the ones who chewed him up and dragged him down to hell. -That last blow to the head proved to be the straw that broke the camel's back. Sam starts having seizures a lot more frequently than any of them like.
