Someone who doesn't seem to appreciate Spike's subtle charms. Can be obnoxious, but usually in an amusing way. He's a good sport, so Spike can't really hold a grudge. And it's always good to have an extra for poker when he needs it.
CAIM.

Slowly warming up to him. Started talking to him after telling an off-color joke and unintentionally offending Caim, which he's tried to make up for. More normal than first assumed, but seems to have a lot of baggage (but who doesn't?). Not commenting on his relationships with Gamma or anyone else he's overheard now and then. Would probably need to have a few drinking sessions to understand what's going on there -- Luckily, he doesn't have to.
ELENA.

She was Buffy's friend. Very perky. No issues with her. They don't speak often, but he does think the authority she pipes up with now and then makes her pretty adorable.
NAOTO FUYUMINE.

Refreshingly level-headed woman. He doesn't know her well, but she seems to be on the same wavelength. He's just a little curious about her relationships with some of the company she keeps.
GAEA.

Spike hasn't mixed well with most of the natives, but they had a memorable meeting the one time he tried. Very mysterious. Attractive, but in that dangerous kind of way that he should know better than to get mixed up with. The only thing he found out about her for sure, she seems to attract monsters. That should have told him enough.
AERITH GAINSBOROUGH.

Met her way back when Ed showed up and she helped him carry the kid back to his place. He hasn't spoken to her in a long while, and might not even remember her name, but he appreciated it all the same.
GAMMA.

Someone he related to early on. Good drinking buddy who has a bad habit of getting involved with things that are better left alone. Spike would be a hypocrite to tell him how to do his business, unless Gamma starts to get too invested in his. Somehow winds up doing favors for him often. He hasn't guessed that Gamma is in the mafia, but it was obvious something was going on when he showed up bleeding to death on his doorstep. Wasn't surprised when he got killed later on, but he was a little hurt that he didn't get invited to the funeral.
GIOVANNI.

Used to have a more neutral opinion of him, but after he jumped him and strung him up for bait, Spike takes him a little more seriously. Three times now Spike has ended up on the losing end of a confrontation (bad timing or bad luck), and was a hair close to dying after the last one. He keeps his distance, usually out of respect for Smoker, but he's always been admittedly stubborn when it comes to challenges. Besides that, Spike has taken up more than a passing curiosity in his background -- not to mention what he's got on Smoker that has him so fixated. Part of him wonders what has to happen before he can justify making it his business.
SENJI KIYOMASA.

One of the men Makina hired Spike to track down. From his little experience with him, Senji seemed like an honest guy -- all he really cared about was fighting, which Spike can appreciate. Fighting with his blood is a little weird, but hey... he'd probably do it again. Especially since he lost the first time.
EIKE KUSCH.

Strange guy. Apparently he's died a lot. And he's got that mildly annoying-bordering on obsessive compulsive optimism; but Julia liked him, so that won him some points with Spike. Unfortunately, Eike's also someone who enjoys digging around in things he shouldn't. Listens to advice a little too well. Spike is slowly learning to watch what he says around him, more for Eike's health than anything. He doesn't seem like the type who learns from his mistakes.
NATALIA KIMLASCA-LANVALDEAR.

Saved his life after an embarrassing run in with Giovanni. Spike doesn't remember exactly what she did or how she did it, but it's probably better that way.

One of the first natives that sounded halfway normal right off the bat. There may be hope for them yet -- is what he would think, but Lawfer sounds suspiciously like a vegetarian. And they were so close...

Computer program? Installed a music feature into the communicators at Spike's request. Usually convenient, but not as user friendly as he'd like. Blames her for saddling him with a hellish nightmare of a cat that he apparently can't get rid of. And she used to seem so innocent...
MUKURO.

Doesn't know much about him, but they've played cards in the past. It's pretty apparent that Mukuro has some secrets (anyone who has more than a five second conversation with the guy can see that), just nothing he has a reason to get involved in.

Calls himself a doctor. Talks funny, but that could just be his sense of humor. Spike is currently reserving his opinion until he figures out what part of him is an act.

Sympathized with her back in the day. Way back -- when Heine blew up a library and Smoker was taking him to trial. She seems to be doing alright for herself since then... at least he doesn't see her upset very often, so Heine must be doing his job
NINA.

No idea who she is or where she came from, but she offered to cook for him, so she's automatically his new favorite person. (That better not have been a tease, lady. There are some things you just don't joke about.)
HEINE RAMMSTEINER.

Giovanni's 'brother', or at least that's what he's heard. Takes care of Nill (another sweet kid who hangs out with a dangerous crowd. Kind of reminds him of his relationship with Ed...) Heine has a reckless streak that Spike can relate to, but despite all his encounters with Giovanni, Spike hasn't had many conversations with him. He seems like someone who needs his space. Spike is fine giving it to him, unless the situation with Giovanni escalates any more than it has; then Heine is first on his list to hit up for information.
DAN SMITH.

Annoying smartass. Smoker took him in after he was out causing trouble, which happened to be around the same time they had Nagi in custody... so it's possible Spike was more on edge than usual. Doesn't find his nicknames at all cute. But at least he doesn't go on showing off magical powers or anything like that, which gives him a favorable nod to some of the others causing trouble in the city. Spike let him go after Smoker asked him to, and he hasn't had much interaction with him since. Suspects that might change if his luck keeps going in a certain inevitable direction.
ROGER SMITH.

(AKA the good Smith.) Wouldn't you know it -- a Negotiator shows up as soon as they don't have any hostage situations. Roger seems a little rigid, but he knows his type. Obsessed about justice. Probably rich. Spike "hired" him as a helping hand for the Task Force. Usually he wouldn't admit to needing him, but in light of recent events, he figures he'll probably come in handy. Couldn't hurt, anyway.
SMOKER.

Could be considered Spike's closest ally and friend since he returned to the city. Over time Spike got more and more involved with his efforts to maintain a Task Force, partly because it was the nearest thing to bounty hunting he could find, and partly because Smoker was one of the few people he was comfortable around. Feels guilty for the trouble he causes him, since Smoker saved his ass more than once and he's not used to being someone's crutch. Which is probably why he went along with 'joining' the Marines. (Besides, Smoker is the only Marine there, so it's pretty much the same as being partners, right? ... Though there's more than a few things about life at sea that makes him nervous. Hopefully it'll never come up.) Tries really hard not to be bothered by that whole 'turn into smoke' thing. Which he mostly does by ignoring it. He's a good guy, and everyone has their quirks.
SU.

Gave him a microwave. Strange and surprisingly capable girl. Found out that she died in an oddly similar way that Spike did, which was... unexpected. Isn't sure what to make of her.
