I figured it would be time I take a look at this movie. I am quite sad to say though that years ago I had quite liked the books, and I was quite thrilled of the first movie. Since then... It's just been going downhill. And this movie proved just that for me.

This is a bit of a difficult one. You know how a film is not necessary bad, but just does not meet your expectations, so you end up being pretty disappointed? That's what happened here.

Now I had been really disappointed about missing this one when it came out in the movies, and I was very much looking forward to making up for that! And now that I have seen it, I know I was right to :)

I have not seen all of the Planet of the Apes films (I know I know, how can I call myself a movie freak and not have seen them, right?), but thought I could give it a try and see this one. Plus, James Franco, need I say more?

So I think I watched this movie more out of curiosity than anything else. And you know that? It was not as bad as I thought it could be!
