Back from their short vacation, the Yarns order a print of their family snapshot (man, I love that feature) to hang on their wall!



Feeling degected and unkissed, Marmalade immediately invited over her local crush, Leo Potter (lemon_lime35). Who apparently is friends with one of the elder plant ladies (Ivana, Azalea, Allium?? I can't remember which, lol)!



Brooke must be feeling all refreshed from vacation. She's impresssed her boss with all that airplane and flight knowledge and she's been promoted! YAY! One step closer to her LTW!



Marmalde prepared this all herself, and served it too! Someone is trying to earn heir points. I see what you're doing! lol



Oh, well maybe she was just trying to impress the mens. I see little hearts!



Marmalade: I missed you so much while we were away!
Leo: You did?! I missed you too. *swoons*



OH! LOOK! It's a kiss!!! Marmalade got her first kiss!! *cheers*

(and yes, I did miss the photo op for first kiss with pretty hearts, darn cinematic messing with my screenshot abilities! This is second kiss, aka "darn, i didn't get the first one!")



Marmalade: I kissed a boy!! *dances*
Leo: hehe, that was fun. *dances*



In the other room, Brooke and Clementine work on their body skills/hobby enthusiasm. :D Family time at it's best!



Look, someone is playing basketball! *is shocked*



Oooh, nice job Marm, now max that hobby enthusiasm!



Ash keeps working on that novel he started back before their vacation. His strong werewolf stamina allows him to work through most of the night, once he gets started.



Oh look, he's finished! Love and Wolves, by Ash Yarn :D



Hooray! Way to go Ash! *snugs*



It's a good book :D



Marmalade: Snow is not magical!
Clementine: Yes it is! It's totally magical with it's shimmery crystals and unique individual structures.



Marmalade: Most people would say wizards and elves are magical. But you say "no, snow is magical!" You're a knowledge sim! WHY do you think snow is magical?!



Clementine: Because I read it in a book? *giggles*
Marmalade: *giggles*

LOL these two are so silly!



Studying for a promotion is srs bizniz. Srsly.

Wow, what's with the nap pictures?! lol



Brooke grows up!



And I will have you know that it is my first grow up where the adult/elder in question did not have a breakdown when they grew up badly! Yay Brooke! Way to cope with your difficult life!



Clementine maximizes her fitness hobby.



And then spends some time discussing Love and Wolves with her dad.



She found it fascinating, but she still wants to be a werewolf. (shhh, that's a secret, don't tell Ash!)



Look! A genie lamp! Here is where I admit that I cheated a little bit. I had someone else give a genie lamp to Marmalade when she visited. Seeing Marmalade come off the bus and knowing there was a genie lamp in the house, I just couldn't resist! But I don't use it this update, feel free to forget it's even there :D



Marmalade: Hey Dad!! DAD! HEY!!! *jumps around*
Ash: *dreams of calvin ball with his own rules*



Marmalade: DAAAAAD! I got an A+!!!!
Me: O_o You did? *tries to read report card*



Marmalade: Dad, yeah .... nevermind.
Ash: *continues dreaming of calvin ball*



Oh look! Another promotion! Brooke is now a Senior Officer (they must have noticed the white hair ^.^).



Why hello Soozi! I didnt' know you'd joined the military! o_O



Clementine: *is shocked*
Ash: *gets in bathtub while daughter is using the bathroom*

Better than one of them standing around complaining! Way to get in there and take your turn! lol.



Soozi and Brooke hit up the karaoke machine. This looks like particularly good (bad?) win for Black generation.



Oh, that's a bit more like it. So conflicted there Brooke, you want to sing a duet, but you don't want to sing karaoke. Good luck with that!

Ash: Why hello there neighbor! *practices being friendly*
Benvolio: *shakes hand*



Benvolio: *dances*
Ash: Hmmm, yes. I think he'd be perfect.



Lookit who Marmalade brought home from school! Always hitting up the boys, huh Marmalade?
Marmalade: *ignores*



Ash: Clementine? There's someone I'd like you to meet. I think you'll really like him, he's a good dancer!
Clementine: Uh, okay?



Benvolio and Clementine: *meet each other*



Clementine: So, do you like art? I really enjoy painting.
Me: Yes! Probe him on those necessary Orange gen skills and interests! *is interested*



Benvolio: Art is okay. *shrugs* I tried it in school, but the paints smelled funny!
Me: Awww, bummer.



Clementine: Oh. Well. What do you like to do?
Benvolio: *stares*



Clemetine: Did you hear about who won the Pleasantview Literary Award? I love that story!
Benvolio: Oh yes, that was a fabulous piece. I know the author personally and she's really wonderful.

Way to salvage the conversation Clementine! *cheers*



Brooke maximizes Music and Dance! YAY! (We're on our way to all 10 hobby plaques, this is number 7!)



The next day at work, Brooke chances upon a chance card! I didn't get a picture, but she totally made the right decision. Her troops are able to safely capture the frog and get it to the hospital in time to save the lieutenant.



And she got a promotion too!



Rock, paper, scissors!!!



Marmalade: Oh yeah, oh yeah!!



Next round:
Clementine: WHOO!!



Quietly studying the night away, since he's decided to stay home at night he's learned all sorts of interesting things! For example, when fixing an electrical appliance, it is advised to turn it off and wipe up any water that surrounds it. Helpful stuff!



Conversations ... about sports!! (Like the hat? Brooke shared with him that she finds guys in hats very attractive. Ash was very willing to comply! lol)



Brooke: So then he ran across the field yelling "GOOOOOOOOAL!"
Ash: Wow, really?! They weren't even playing soccer!
Brooke: Yeah, I know. That was the point.



Another quiet day, another lonely lunch.



But that's about to change! It's time for a birthday party and growing up!



Awww, birthday dance!



And this is about as exciting as the party got. Neither actually blew out their candles, despite walking up to their cakes and deliberating. The guests all had a good time though, since the party was a success! I don't know what they all did, but it must have been really great!



Clementine: What are you thinking about Dad?
Ash: About that vacation we took when you were just little girls. *sighs* Seems like it was just yesterday.



Clementine: Oh! That vacation!! It was fabulous! Remember how we found that secret door in the middle of the road! And it led to a passageway underground!! That was so cool.
Ash: It was! Those tours were so much fun, I'm so glad I got to do that with you.
Clementine: Me too. I can't wait to go on vacation again!



Clementine: Oh! And congrats on having five super best friends dad! I'm so proud of you!
Me: Wow, five?! Who did he manage to be friends with!?

Clementine: Shush, that's not nice.
Me: Oh, sry.
Clementine: Yeah. You should really be more polite in the future.
Me: O_o Yes ma'am! *tips her hat to the new orange heir*

That's right, Clementine is the winner of our heir poll and thus gets to tell me what to do be the offical heir!
