I had
Idaho listed as full credit right up to the last minute. After all, I knew we drove through it on the way to
Washington when I was a kid. My sister and I also drove through when we moved her to Alaska
However, upon further reflection I wasn't quite sure. On that latter trip I'm not sure that we even got out of the car as drove through Boise, and if we did it was solely to stop for gas. And the more I thought about it, I couldn't recall actually doing anything in Idaho as a kid. Confused, I turned to the oracle of Mom for clarification. She reports that we went to
Craters of the Moon National Monument for three days on a camping trip. I had no recollection of this whatsoever. I also have vague recollections of going to
Hells Canyon, which would have been the Idaho side. However, those memories are sufficiently vague that I cannot rely on them (to be fair, I was about five years old) so I have opted to stash Idaho under the "partial" category.
There are a lot of pretty things there, so I can probably justify a trip back at some point to knock it off the list.
