Summary: Ueda finds himself on a bus going to who-knows-where, and his travelling partner is none other than Nishikido. What do the summer and this trip have in store for them?
Warnings: Nothing really, except for some silliness and maybe some out of character… and maybe misspellings and grammar but I am fairly confident there won’t be much of this.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot, but I sure wish I owned more...
A/N: Sorry for the late update on this one... more than a week since I last updated... But I have really been busy with school and with friends and family. I’m not that pleased with this chapter but I still hope you’ll enjoy it somehow ^^

A couple of hours later Ueda together with Ryo and Yamapi were out looking for fireworks. During the breakfast it had been decided who would supply with what. Kame, Jin and Koki were going to fix the alcohol. Nakamaru, Masuda and Tegoshi were going to get the food. And Koyama, Shige and Junno were going to get the supplies they needed to make a barbecue. They would be leaving for the beach after lunch it was said so that they could enjoy not only the night but also the afternoon sun at the deserted beach.
Yamapi were walking in the middle of the trio chipper as always whistling along to Tackey & Tsubasa’s Venus .Ryo and Ueda was walking slightly behind him and continued to throw smiles and glances at each other as they walked down the street and to the closest convenience store. They reached it after a few minutes and Yamapi continued to lead the way oblivious to the other’s flirtatious glances behind him.
“Ah, here it is” Yamapi stopped whistling as he had finally found what they were looking for. “How much should we buy do you think?” he turned around to face his companions for the first time on their mission.
“Uh, as much as you think we need” Ueda said composing himself and gave Yamapi an uncertain smile. They had almost gotten caught in their flirting game not that it would really matter since almost everyone knew about them already.
“Just take a few packages” Ryo said not really caring about it and he glanced over at Ueda again.
“Hmm... What kinds of then?” Yamapi asked looking at all the different kinds there was. Big, small, rainbow coloured, single coloured and so on.
“A little of it all” Ryo shrugged throwing a dull glance at the shelf.
“Okay” Yamapi replied and picked his hands filled with a variety of fireworks. He almost dropped some of them but Ueda was quickly by his side to help him out.
“Thanks” Yamapi smiled as grabbed a few more packages of firework now that Ueda had released him from some of them. Ueda raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment on the now huge amount of firework.
“Who’s paying?” Ryo asked as they walked towards the counter.
“I can pay” Ueda shrugged handing over the firework to Ryo. “You guys can pay me back later”
“Okay” Yamapi smiled sheepishly from behind the firework he was holding. “I actually forgot my wallet at the hotel”
Ueda smiled back as he opened his bag to get his own wallet. He looked into it and when he saw the gifts that he had gotten from Kame earlier he blushed slightly. He hadn’t blushed when he was with Kame but somehow this was more embarrassing. Ryo was just inches away from him and Yamapi was there too. If they knew what he was walking around with he would surely die of embarrassment.
“Are you feeling okay?” Ryo suddenly asked eyeing his boyfriend. “You look a bit flushed”
“No, I’m okay” Ueda smiled awkwardly fishing up his wallet just as they reached the counter. Ryo thankfully didn’t push anything and he and Yamapi tipped over the fireworks on the counter.
Later, back in the hotel room Ueda was in the bathroom making himself ready to leave for lunch with the others. Ryo was still lying on the bed after their short but quite intense make out session when Ueda’s phone buzzed indicating he had gotten a new message. Just seconds later Ryo’s phone made the same sound and then Ueda’s phone once again.
“Ryo, could you hand me my phone? I think it’s in my bag” Ueda asked from the bathroom as he had gotten curious on who would’ve texted him. He heard how Ryo got up from the bed and a moment later Ryo was in the bathroom next to him.
“What is this?” Ryo asked with a smirk as he held up the package of condoms and the tube of lubricant. “I found them in your bag. You told me last night we didn’t have these kinds of things”
“Ah” Ueda blushed placing down the foundation on the counter. “I got that from Kame this morning”
“From Kamenashi?” Ryo asked in disbelief “Why would he give that to you? Doesn’t he need it himself?”
“Well, I told him about last night” Ueda said glancing over at Ryo. “And he gave that to me just in case you know we would like to go further. He also told me he had more in the room.”
“Figures, Jin has a libido like no one else I know” Ryo grinned and then wrapped his arms around Ueda. “So wanna test it out; the gifts Kame gave to you” he nuzzled his face into Ueda’s hair.
“But we’re on our way out” Ueda said looking at Ryo through the mirror. “We’re meeting up with the rest in just a few minutes”
“So?” Ryo said pushing away Ueda’s hair softly and then started to nibble on his neck.
“So, it will be suspicious if we turn up late” Ueda said trying to move away. “I promise we’ll try it out later or tomorrow or something”
“But almost everyone have figured it all out already” Ryo said but let go of Ueda. “They should understand...”
“They probably would” Ueda smiled softly. “But we still shouldn’t. It’s impolite to turn up late”
“Okay, okay” Ryo said stroking Ueda’s hair “But I hold you to that promise”
“You do that” Ueda said leaning into Ryo’s touch. “So where is my phone?”
“Ah, I completely forgot about that” Ryo said rushing out from the bathroom. Ueda chuckled and continued to work on covering up the latest art work by Ryo that was decorating his neck.
“Here” Ryo got back into the bathroom again a moment later. Ueda turned around and grabbed the phone from Ryo. He opened his phone and raised his eyebrows in surprise when he saw who the message was from.
“Nakai-senpai?” He clicked open the message.
“Huh?” Ryo said sounding just as surprised and tried to look at the phone screen. “Why would he contact you?”
“Congratulations?” Ueda replied looking confused “He’s congratulating me for something. And wishing me good luck and saying hello to you”
“Why? How does he know that I’m with you?” Ryo asked taking the phone from Ueda to read the message.
“I have no idea” Ueda replied taking the phone back.
“Maybe...” Ryo started and got a quizzical look from Ueda. “Maybe he knows about us...”
“But how?” Ueda asked. “How could he possibly kno-“ he stopped mid-sentence as something struck him and apparently something had struck Ryo. “You don’t think that Ninomiya-kun could have?”
“I’m not sure...” Ryo answered hesitantly. “He wouldn’t say anything to anyone on purpose but maybe he slipped. Maybe someone overheard him or something”
Ueda nodded and looked down at the message again when he remembered that he had gotten another message. He clicked a few buttons on the phone and opened it.
“Tsubasa?” Ueda got surprised once again “He’s also congratulating me, saying hello to you and wishing us good luck. Oh and Tackey says hi as well”
“Nino must’ve let his tongue slip” Ryo frowned. “I’m gonna call him right away”
Ueda looked up from the phone as Ryo got out from the room to get his phone but then looked back down on his phone.
Should he answer the messages or just let it be for now? It would be rude not to, right? And those two had always been good senpais to him. He clicked a few buttons and started to answer the messages when he heard Ryo mutter in the other room. He got curious and left the bathroom to see what he was doing.
He walked into the room and saw Ryo sitting on the bed muttering curses under his breath while he had the phone pressed to his ear.
“Nino messaged me and said that some people had overheard him and Jun talk in the hallway” Ryo explained when he saw Ueda’s quizzical eyes. “I just have to know just how many it was. God damn it answer Nino”
“Don’t be too harsh on him” Ueda said sitting down on the bed and placed a hand on Ryo’s knee. “Even though I’m not really happy about it, it was a mistake and I guess everyone would find out sooner or later anyways”
“I know, but he could’ve been a bit more careful” Ryo huffed took down his phone and re-dialled Nino’s number. “And I really hope the word hasn’t travelled down to Osaka yet. I really want to be the one to tell those guys by myself.”
“You mean Kanjani?” Ueda asked a bit surprised. “I thought you would want them to figure it out as well as the others”
“Well, I figured it would be hard for them to do so” Ryo said the phone still pressed to his ear “since KAT-TUN and Kanjani don’t hang out that much, and you don’t go much to Osaka. And if I kept it a secret from them when everybody else know it wouldn’t be fair on them”
“Ah, that’s true” Ueda nodded and leaned back down on the bed, his legs dangling down over the edge. “So when was you going to tell them?”
“As soon as possible” Ryo said giving up getting through to Nino and placed the phone down on the nightstand.
“I see” Ueda smiled up at Ryo. Ryo smiled back before he leaned down to capture Ueda’s lips. Ueda quickly responded like if it was a reflex and slipped his arms around Ryo’s neck. Ryo’s tongue poked for entrance and Ueda gladly obeyed moaning slightly into the kiss. But when Ryo started to trail kisses down Ueda’s neck he got pushed away.
“What now?” Ryo said a bit annoyed and tried to kiss Ueda again but his mouth got covered by one of Ueda’s hands.
“I just spent time covering up your latest art work on my body” Ueda said as he sat up taking his hand away from Ryo. “And I won’t have time to re do it before we leave. Aww, don’t sulk Ryo-chan” Ueda smiled innocently. “It makes you look bad”
“I’m not sulking” Ryo’s sulking face turned into a glaring one. “And nothing could ever make me look bad. I am after all the Se-“
“Sexy Osaka man” Ueda rolled his eyes. “Yes I know, I know. But believe me; you do look bad when you sulk like that. Now come on.”
Ryo glared at Ueda but got up nonetheless and grabbed a hold of both of their bags.
“Here” he handed Ueda his bag and received a smile for that. “You’re so making up for this later”
“Yes, I know. Haven’t I already promised that?” Ueda said hooking his arm with Ryo’s and ruffling hair slightly. Ryo swatted Ueda’s hand away and hide his face from the other. However Ueda hadn’t failed to see the smile that had sneaked its way upon the other’s face. He didn’t point it out and just let Ryo continue with his sulking as they made their ways out from the room.
