Bolly attended the Flint Manor Christmas Party. There he ran distractions so Lottie could transfigure her dress, and Blue and Sofie could have a "moment", in return for promised future use of her broom. Ellie took his photo. He discussed party food with Miss Frida, Grampa Mike's history with Alfie and quidditch gossip with Aunt Pasha while dancing. Eventually Flora arrived with a secret, that she'd found some of Marcus's old journals, and Flora, Bolly and Auggie attempted to copy them, managing to only get a few pages before nearly getting caught.
After Christmas, Bolly met Freddie Boot-Marlowe, who was now living in the flat above Grampa Fred's shop, and learned about Freddie's history and also Grampa Fred's dating life.

Spring term began at Hogwarts with Blue accidentally throwing a party while trying to introduce Holden to Lottie. Bolly discussed stage effects with Dae, got told off by both Sylvie and Sofie, and got bored of the party and abandoned it in favour of exploring with Auggie, meaning neither of them are caught when Professor Popa shows up to enforce curfew. Someone tried to use condoms as water balloons, which led to Bolly having an idea for a new sport. Dae was worried about his transfiguration marks, and Bolly tried to help.
Then disaster struck as Aunt Pasha was killed in a Quidditch accident. With the death announced over the wireless, Bolly heard about it from Slytherins wondering how it would affect the games before he had a chance to be told by family. He took the news badly, having something of a panic attack when trying to call home, and then bouncing around Hogwarts with Auggie as they tried to find their own way home before finally Grampa Mike arrived to collect them.
At Flint Manor, both he and Flora considered trying to get rid of everyone's brooms before realising it wouldn't work, and coming up with a new plan: a Quidditch Safety improvement petition. He later discussed the petition with Aunt Stevie. Grampa Mike tried to go through with the broom disposal plan, leading to Bolly having another panic attack, and agreeing to talk to his dad about them. He continued to hone the petition, getting citations from Frida, Quidditch terminology from Grampa Mike and Kieran, and getting lawyerly wording from Nadya. He also talked about it with a newly single Thorne and various other people both at home and back at Hogwarts.
Fearing the return of Flying lessons would also mean panic attacks, Bolly asked Sofie for flying help which mostly went okay. Alfie complained about the Valentine's Day dance restrictions and Bolly considered running his own party. Grampa Mike came to Hogwarts to apologise for his behaviour. Afterwards, Bolly met Holden looking for Lottie, and stalked Montague some. Sylvie was having a bad day because of the same creep, so Bolly shared some chocolate. When Lottie mentioned the talent show, Bolly once again worried that he didn't have one.

At Lottie's suggestion, Bolly offered his stage effects services for the talent show. Meanwhile, Alfie and the band decided to use Bolly's name suggestion: Lunar Howl. After all his work at the talent show, an exhausted Bolly got snacks and a Lunar Howl t-shirt of his very own. Montague started to suffer the effects of Bolly's prank. When Sylvie looked sad, Bolly learned she'd told the professors about Montague and decided to lay off his prank. In the library, researching his emergency communicator project, Bolly discussed animagi with Lottie.
While the upper years were having their Valentine's Day dance, Bolly threw a snacks and Karaoke party in Slytherin, where Aiden wowed the crowd. On the actual Valentine's Day, he gave his cousins treats, including a chocolate (realistic) heart for Lottie. He helped Blue look for a lost present for Sofie. Alfie was having trouble with groupies and Bolly commiserated.
Bolly offered advice when Sofie was behind on her studying. When Dae had questions about Quidditch, Bolly tried to help but accidentally vented his stress about the upcoming Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw game and his promise to keep Auggie company.

Coming back from visiting Auggie in Ravenclaw, Bolly ran into and helped Dae-Jung look for the Room of Requirement. Bolly owled his parents for details. He received a reply while working some more on his emergency alert project, getting good advice from Catalina and Blue. Then Bolly tried to give Valentina some career advice of his own.
While looking for Holden to ask for help with the emergency alert system, Bolly learned Professor Popa was angry about something. He took a tight shortcut back to Slytherin and accidentally walked in Aubrey Macdonald trying to drown Graham Montague. Despite this causing an intense panic attack, Bolly attempted to defend Montague. When Popa intervened, Aubrey carried Bolly to the Hospital Wing.

Bolly woke up in the Hospital Wing and discovered he didn't remember what had happened. After being released, he started avoiding Aubrey.
He tried to help Sofie tackle the Unknown. He wished Ava a happy birthday, and after classes she and others joined him in the Room of Requirement. Once they had the starting plan for the concert, Sofie worried about scheduling everything, and Bolly offered suggestions.
After she went to the DMLE with Cadeyrn Mulciber Sr., Bolly finds Sylvie sad and drinking in the common room and brings her chocolate.
On Aiden's birthday, Bolly decided they needed a picnic, and started arranging one for the weekend. Meanwhile, Bolly and Lottie discussed wandless magic and Bolly sent an owl to Fred to ask for advice. The following Saturday, everyone gathered to celebrate Aiden, Bolly and Auggie's birthdays.
Val's dad insisted she stop dying her hair, leading to Bolly planning a prank. Ava considered getting piercings; Bolly finally told her that he wouldn't be able to come to the Mulciber Wedding. Later he was startled to learn that Auggie had a crush on her..

With Easter out of the way, and no more excuses to delay left, Bolly sent the Quidditch Safety Petition in, which did not make him feel better. There was a brief formal response but little follow-up. Later in the holiday, Aimee was idly considering adopting Sylvie, so Bolly gave this thoughts and also on baby names for Mari and Luc.
When the holiday was over, Bolly hurried to get a good seat on the Hogwarts express. That weekend, he helped out with the not-so-secret concert.
With school back in session, Sylvie decided there needed to be more Quidditch practices and Bolly shared his thoughts. He got permission from Professor Boot to floo-call Maddie on her birthday.
With help from Auggie (and Grampa Fred), Bolly pranked the entire school with a hair-colour changing charm.
Blue started working on the prom and Bolly "helped". Frustrated with his own current projects, Bolly ran out of things to do until Sylvie taught him to crochet. Drew asked him about the Falcons and Kieran Wood-Bones. Lottie had an idea for a family motto, which Bolly did not approve of, and a family tattoo, which he did.

Slytherin lost their Quidditch match when Alfie caught the snitch just a goal each into the game. Bolly discussed the result with Sylvie which turned into discussing her drinking habits. Viktor Krum came to watch the match, so Bolly warned him to be nice to Alfie. Arlo got the same advice. Kieran Bones-Wood also came for the Quidditch match (and business), and bought gifts for Bolly.
Catalina warned people it was time to start revising leading to Bolly wondering why there wasn't a fixed date for results.

Bolly discovered Sylvie had disordered eating issues and attempted to help. Jax started arranging a birthday picnic for Sylvie. Bolly warned him about Aubrey attacking Montague. Meanwhile, Sofie was having cat issues.

Sofie and Bolly discussed cooking with Stefan. When Val needed an excuse to get out of dinner with Montague, Bolly took her to WWW. Grampa Mike walked into a doorframe, worrying Bolly.
While running at the Manor, Bolly encountered Stan Utkin and got a knife pulled on him. Ms Frida found out, leading to Bolly getting grounded for two weeks for forgetting to tell anyone. Mateo came by, looking for Val. Bolly gave his statement about Stan to David and the DMLE.
OWL and NEWT results came out. Bolly congratulated Lot and Blue and gave Arlo a pep talk.
